At Linked D Cowhorses we offer western riding lessons for young children (age 4 and older) or adults of any age interested in learning to ride.

Starting with safety, identifying the horse's body parts, to learning the names of all the tack and how to put it on the horse. Lessons then move on to the basic positioning of your body through the various gates of the horse. Once comfortable "sitting" the horse you will advance to controlling the horse and its position.

We also like to work with the rider on their own horse, teaching you how to make your horse do what you want him to do. Teaching you how to train your own horse.

For those of you who want to be a part of the Ranch Sorting events, we have lessons available working on sorting cattle and also offer cutting lessons in the round pen. Weekend clinics/practices are available through the year as time and weather allows.
